Who can apply for AFA grants?

If you are or have been a current resident of Alberta for at least one full year, you can apply to the AFA for a grant of up to $15,000 to support artistic activities through our individual project grant programs. 

What are eligible expenses?

Did you know that child care and other living expenses could be an eligible project expense? Costs associated with cultural protocols? Learn more about what generally can be included as an eligible expense in your project application.

Video audition tips

Artists applying for individual project funding to support training or career development in dance or theatre are required to submit audition videos to support their applications. Here are some tips to help you make a good impression on the expert panel!
