Open Call for Musicians: Edmonton Folks Vol. 2!

Are you a folk musician based in the Edmonton Amiskwaciw-Waskayhkan area? Want to be part of a collaborative album that features an array of folk artists? Whether you’ve recorded your music professionally or not, whether you’ve performed for years or are just getting started, we want to hear from you!

Edmonton Folks 2.0 is excited to be partnering with Jarred Albright; sound engineer, producer and musician in his own right. In his home studio, selected artists will be invited to record one of their unreleased songs.

Our first Edmonton Folks album received lots of coverage on CKUA because we did a fundraiser for them at our album launch party! We were also featured on CBC. We hope 2.0 will get even more coverage! 

Participating artists will be expected to help us promote.

The deadline to apply is August 1, 2026!
