'Penguins Fly' Launch Party

Join us to celebrate the launch of Teren Hazzard's debut poetry collection, Penguins Fly! Teren is a transgender writer whose poetry explores the everyday experience of being queer in Canada. Penguins Fly is a witty, heartfelt poetry collection about Bill, a transgender student, fighting the "cis-tem" to chase his dream of studying penguins—and living authentically.
All are invited to participate in this evening of queer joy, just in time to celebrate National Poetry Month. Hear a reading from the author, purchase a book, and get it signed
