Art Battle Edmonton returns to Casino Yellowhead (12464 - 153 St) on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at 7:30 pm bringing together 12 confirmed artists, including two featured artists and 2026 National Champion Joseph Endiafe, for three rounds of live painting, audience voting and original art auctioned as it is created.

Twelve artists are confirmed, including two featured artists. Featured artist Joseph Endiafe returns as the 2026 National Champion.
The lineup combines new energy with seasoned Art Battle competitors, including artists with multiple previous wins. Across three rounds, each painter will have 20 minutes to create an original work before the audience votes to decide who advances.
It's loud, it's fast, and you get a vote. Twelve artists paint live for twenty minutes a round — you walk around the easels, watch the canvas come together, then vote from your phone when the round ends. The room decides who wins; the room decides what sells.
Live auction runs throughout — canvases from each round go up for bidding as soon as they're called. Bring a friend, bring cash or card, bring an opinion. Doors stay open between rounds for refills, artist meet-and-greets, and a look at the works on offer.

Round 1 — six easels paint side by side under a 20-minute clock. Audience watches up close and votes when the bell sounds.

Round 2 — fresh six artists, same 20-minute clock. The room votes again. Auction for Round 1 canvases runs live alongside.
Top 2 advance · 4 finalists set
Four finalists. One champion.
Round 3 — the four advancing artists take the stage. Audience picks the city champion. The winning canvas goes to a final bidding round.
