Overview  

The Digital Constellations Residency offers Indigenous digital media artists, filmmakers, and animators dedicated time and a supportive environment to advance the video and audio production and post-production aspects of their projects. With guidance from faculty and support from our Media Production team, participants will refine their work, create high-quality samples, and further develop their projects throughout the program.

Overview  

“Toga da wôhnagabi” (Stories for the future) is a four-week hybrid Indigenous music residency that brings worldviews together from all four corners of Mother Earth. Watched over by Buffalo Spirit, the residency provides musicians and songwriters a transformative space to actively listen and learn from each other in story and song.

The Town of Sylvan Lake is hosting its third Art Show & Sale! Open to creatives of all mediums, this is a great way to introduce your art to new audiences! Held June 6&7th during the town's 1913 Days, a festival drawing in thousands of visitors from all over the province.

In such a world, how do we navigate without losing our sense of hope? Can we discover joy through the power of ideas, knowledge, and creativity? Is it possible to imagine a future where compassion, equality, and the resilient human spirit triumph over despair?
