Northern Light Theatre Presents their 51st Season 2026-2027

Northern Light Theatre's 2026-2027 season, their 51st, features three plays about characters at a crossroads in their lives: turns that they could never have expected. The first production explores a woman who has been unceremoniously diverted off the path she had planned for her life and finds herself having to start over. The second play centres on two young men at the beginning of their journey into adulthood… with no clear plan laid out for them. And the third script unveils a woman raging against the idea of her life getting smaller, due to a degenerative disease that will rob her of her life’s work as a concert violinist.

"Life never seems to proceed the way we plan it, or imagine it, or hope it will be," explains Artistic Director Trevor Schmidt. But life deals each of us an unknown hand- and it’s how we play it that determines how each life will unfold.

"This season I purposefully chose plays for certain actors I wanted to showcase or offer opportunities to- performers who have often been overlooked or forgotten. Our first show welcomes back some old favorites, but the rest of the season is all performers making their NLT (and often professional) debuts."

Subscriptions for all three shows are now on sale through Northern Light Theatre's website northernlighttheatre.com. Subscriptions start at $80 VIP pricing until June 22, and single tickets go on sale August 3, 2026
