On behalf of the MacEwan University Design program, we are pleased to invite you to the Opening Reception of our annual Portfolio Show and to introduce this year's graduating class to the Edmonton design community.
The theme of this year's exhibition is LAYERS: a reflection of the complexity, diversity, and depth that defines our students' work and their journeys through the program.
From typography to videography, branding to UX, each student has pursued their own path and developed a distinct voice. This show is the culmination of that work — and the beginning of what's next.
The exhibition runs from May 1 to 9, 2026 in the Mitchell Art Gallery and features a diverse range of projects showcasing how each student uses design to communicate with purpose and personality.
