Join the Royal Alberta Museum on July 24 from 6-8 pm for a special evening of performances and activities as we welcome new Albertans to RAM!
Enjoy live music from Edmonton Music Prize winner HAIDEE, join RAM Curator of Non-Avian Vertebrates Nicholas Cairns for an introduction to our feature exhibition Orcas: Our Shared Future, connect with Assistant Curator of Daily Life and Leisure Julia Rudko to see objects and learn about the history of the iconic Calgary Stampede. The first 100 kids to join us will also receive a free colouring book!
This event is presented in partnership with Canoo, an app developed by the Institute for Canadian Citizenship. Canoo offers free access to over 2,000 partner destinations across Canada, including the RAM.
Please note: While the event is open to all members of the public, free admission to the museum is available only to Canoo members. Canoo is free and available to:
• New Canadian citizens within their first year of citizenship
• New Canadian permanent residents within their first five years of PR status
