This year's upcoming events include...
- Bloom Market: A vintage and makers market focusing on local vendors. We provide an free market accessible to all at the Containr space!
- Ripple Fest: A community music festival featuring artists and bands from across Calgary gathering to perform and jam together.
- Yabber: A theatrical experience about a celebrity, an orphan, a crone, and a cowboy that collide to bring you a cautionary folk tale that will leave you snapping your fingers and tapping your toes. Old junk transforms into masks, puppets, and instruments in a tale that shows us how love and sacrifice could save our planet.
- Sit. Stay. Slay!: A Dog Inclusive Drag Show! Do you ever feel guilty leaving your dog at home while you go off on fun adventures and see cool things? Now you don’t have to! Bring your dog to this one-of-a-kind experience where we bring incredibly talented local drag artists to ContainR Park in Sunnyside for an unforgettable show. We offer a family-friendly and dog-inclusive event with performances, vendors, raffle prizes, contests, and more! We work in partnership with local charities, rescues, and businesses to bring together an event that feels wholesome and community building.
- Romeo & MOOliet: Calgary's best Bovine-Bard-Bonanza! This ridiculous, music-filled adaptation of William Shakespeare's classic is guaranteed to be the best thing you've ever HERD. With the continued hiatus of Calgary’s staple summer Shakespeare program, come support the continuation of this theatrical tradition.
And many more to be announced! We can't wait to see you there. Head to our website for more details on this year's lineup: springboardperformance.com/programs/containr-2025

Every year containR hosts change-making, accessible arts programming and events made for gathering. Having travelled to many communities of Calgary, containR is a pop-up art park structured with upcycled shipping containers that is designed, developed and curated by Springboard Performance.
