Edmonton International Film Festival presents 2026 Oscar® Nominated Short Films

The Edmonton International Film Festival (EIFF)'s annual Oscar® Nominated Short Films Fundraiser returns to Edmonton's Metro Cinema (8712 109 Street) for three nights only: March 8th, 11th, and 13th, 2026. This is a unique  local opportunity to view all of the nominated short animationdocumentary, and live-action films ahead of the 98th Academy Awards airing Sunday, March 15.

Howard, who lives in Vancouver and holds a PhD in philosophy from the University of Toronto, brings a rich interdisciplinary perspective shaped by his postdoctoral work at Harvard on memory, emotion, and literature.

Call for Submissions: Mainstage Assistant Director Program - Citadel Theatre

The Citadel Theatre is excited to announce a call for submissions for the Mainstage Assistant Director Program for the first half of our 2026/27 season. This professional development program has been created to support directors as they develop their skills, particularly in large scale Mainstage work.


THE PROGRAM
This is a specialized program that is built in collaboration with the selected artists involved and the Mainstage directors they will be working with. The program is supported by the Citadel’s Producer, Bridget Norris-Jones and Artistic Director, Daryl Cloran.
