ASA presents an exhibition “Weaving World” at the Walterdale Theatre in Edmonton
The Alberta Society of Artists is pleased to present an exhibition featuring the work of Alberta artists Duo Duo (Doris Charest, ASA and Karen Blanchet).
“Weaving disparate materials together mirrors the essence of our universe. We are still learning how interconnected life is, how all the pieces of the puzzle seem dependent upon one another”.
This exhibition coincides with the play “Waiting for the Parade”, which runs April 15-25, 2026, at the Walterdale Theatre, 10322 83 Ave. NW, Edmonton Alberta.

2026 Call for Board Members
SNAP is seeking 2-5 new folks to join our Board of Directors. If you have a passion or curiosity for art, printmaking, or arts organizations, we would love to connect with you! Board directors are our community liaisons — building and nurturing connections with, and for, the communities our members live, work, and create in. Interested individuals should have an openness to thought, curiosity and tenacity to re-envision systems of accountability, sustainability, and equity.
Baker Miller Pink presents The Painter and the Lake at Vertigo Theatre
Baker Miller Pink presents “The Painter and The Lake”, a brand-new Canadian multidisciplinary show by Cayley Wreggitt and Samantha Ketsa. Peter, a down-on-his-luck painter, has hit a rut. In search of a muse, he traverses the Kananaskis backcountry until he discovers Lillian, a pristine mountain lake. But something sinister lurks beneath her surface, unearthing ghosts from Peter's past and challenging his relationship to art as a passion and a profession. “The Painter and The Lake” is presented by Baker Miller Pink as a Resident Company of Vertigo Theatre.
