New Show | The Great Kooshog Lake Hollis McCauley Fishing Derby

Date: Sep 7, 2019

Homegrown hospitality, downhome humour and homestyle cooking is what we have in store for our 24th season of Professional Comedy Dinner Theatre!

Opening November 8 and running until December 15, 2019, The Great Kooshog Lake Hollis McCauley Fishing Derby, is penned by Canada’s most produced playwright, Mr. Norm Foster. It's a zany, sitcom style comedy set the fictitious town of Kooshog Lake, where city slicker James Bell walks into town after his car breaks down to find himself getting caught up in the town's whacky and wonderful characters during their annual fishing derby. Think Schitt's Creek meets Corner Gas meets Bob Newhart. We guaranteed our audiences will walk away from their Cow Patti experience with a giggle in their step and a tummy full of delicious home cooked food!

Located in Lacombe, Alberta, Cow Patti is the entertainment destination spot of Alberta. We have folks visiting from as far away as Athabasca to Fort McCleod, to Consort to Rocky Mountain House! Not only are all the wonderful smaller Alberta towns travelling to Cow Patti, but they're also coming in car and bus loads from Calgary and Edmonton!

As with upholding a very important part of our mandate, we will continue for the 24 year, to give back to our communities through our Benefit Performance Program. During The Great Kooshog Lake Hollis McCauley Fishing Derby we will host seven Benefit Performances. At the end of our 23rd season this past April, we reached the $550-thousand mark in money raised for our Benefits in the past 23 years!
