Date: Jan 30, 2023
Deadline: Apr 3, 2023 - 11:45 pm

The Alberta Society of Artists invites Alberta artists (18 years of age or older) to submit to the exhibition “Home and Migration."
Artists are asked to think about location, place, and where home is. Is the idea of ‘home’ a physical place, an emotional place, or both? ‘Home’ may connect to nostalgia, one’s formative years, or to a settled place of ‘now’. How has the feeling of home changed with migration and with the diaspora of a community?
The artist's statement will be crucial to the understanding of the artwork's intent in this exhibition call. A catalogue may be produced (note that the catalogue may be virtual or/and actual.)
Media range is open. Two-dimensional with a size limitation of 40" in any direction.
Exhibition location is the Art Gallery of Alberta, Edmonton: June-August 2023. There may be other venues.
Deadline for Submissions: April 3, 2023 @ 11:59 PM MDT
