Feminine Diversity Children's Resource Packages

Date: May 21, 2024

In 2022, WAM launched the Diversité Feminine Diversity (DFD) project to increase its representation of Black, Indigenous and people of colour (BIPOC) women artists.

As part of the project, we have created a resource package that allows children from ages 7 to 13 to engage with these artists in a fun and inviting way. This French and English bilingual package includes a resource booklet with information about the artists with interactive activities inside as well as writing and drawing supplies.

Thanks to government funding, these packages are free of charge.

We invite all community members to visit the Women’s Art Museum of Canada located at #116, 8627 rue Marie-Anne Gaboury (91 St) NW in Edmonton to explore our current exhibition and to pick up the packages.

We have limited quantities, and this offer is on a first come first serve basis.
