Originally from Miami, Florida, Nina has a diverse professional background that informs her passion for Arts and Culture. Having studied acting, photography, creative writing and painting Nina applies the lens of her Taino-Arawak (Indigenous peoples of the Caribbean) and her expertise in World History and Civilization to represent the struggles and triumphs of the Puerto Rican and Cuban diasporas to the North American mainland. When she is not dedicating her time and energy to designing new and inclusive gameplay for Dungeons and Dragons or working for the Alberta Foundation for the Arts, Nina can be found serving on various organizations and committees with the intention of encouraging diversity and innovative growth in the Arts and Humanities sectors and supporting students.
