Experience the magic of musical theatre with Showbiz Kids Summer Camps at Youth Singers of Calgary!
Dive into the world of musical theatre with Youth Singers of Calgary's Showbiz Kids summer camps. Our week-long full-day and half-day camps are tailored to ignite passion and creativity in young performers.
Full-day camps (grades 3-8):
Join us for a week of exploration and excitement at our Showbiz Kids full-day camps.
Designed for Grades 3 to 8, these camps immerse campers in a diverse range of musical styles and dance forms.
Through choral sessions, choreography, and theatre workshops, each camper will develop their skills in singing, dancing, and acting.
Highlights include:
- Writing and developing a script.
- Learning about character development.
- Participating in a professional recording session.
- Showcasing their talents in a mini-musical performance in flashy costumes at week's end.
Camp dates:
- July 8-12 (grades 4-6)
- July 15-19 (grades 3-5)
- July 22-26 (grades 4-6)
- July 29-August 2 (grades 3-5)
- August 12-16 (grades 4-6)
- August 19-23 (grades 5-8)
Cost: $345 (Full-Day)
Camp Hours: 9 am - 4 pm
Pre- and post-camp care available from 8 am - 5 pm at an additional cost.
Half-day camps (grades 1-2):
Perfect for younger performers, our Showbiz Kids half-day camps offer grades 1-2 a wonderful introduction to musical theatre.
Campers will:
- Explore music and theatre arts through listening, movement, games, and singing.
- Engage in activities that foster self-expression and imaginative characterization.
Camp Dates:
- August 12-16
- August 19-23
