Announcement for Dancers - Canada Performing Arts Workers Resilience Fund

Date: Jul 6, 2022

Deadline: Dec 16, 2022 - 11:45 pm

Albertan Dancers, financial help is here!
CDA has received funding from the Canada Performing Arts Workers Resilience Fund to bring direct assistance to independent and self-employed dancers from across Canada, thanks to Canadian Heritage.

With the funding received, CDA aims to offer a total of $2500 each to 1500 applicants.
CDA is  working to make sure the process is simple, quick, accessible, and secure.
We prioritize those who have been hardest hit by the pandemic: IBPOC, racialized people, 2SLGBTQIA+, deaf people, disabled folks, persons with disabilities, official minority language speakers, rural and underserved areas, and do so with an intersectional approach to best serve marginalized dancers in need.
We would like to heartily thank the partner organizations and the members of the advisory committee who assisted us in developing the application process.  Their input is invaluable and essential to ensure that we proceed in accordance with our values of care, equity and access.
To apply, please go here.

*Dancers from Québec should contact La Fondation des artistes.

Choreographers, dramaturges, rehearsal directors, lighting designers, technical directors, stage managers, production managers, costume designers should apply to The AFC.
