AFA funded authors nominated for the 2026 Alberta Literary Awards

The Writers’ Guild of Alberta (WGA) announced the finalists for the 2026 Alberta Literary Awards. Created by the WGA in 1982, the awards recognize excellence in writing by Alberta authors.
The AFA is honoured to have supported five Alberta authors through individual project grants whose works are shortlisted for literary awards in their respective categories.
