Stony Plain Photographer is One of 11 Finalists for the 2019 Luxembourg Art Prize

Date: Sep 27, 2019

Living on a farm near Stony Plain with her husband and five children, Jenna Hobbs' photography focuses on motherhood, and she frequently includes herself and her family in her seemingly candid photographs.

Hobbs's photographs are the only Canadian entries for the 2019 Luxembourg Award. The prize, now in its fifth year and worth about $75,000, is intended to accelerate the careers of little-known artists, whether professional or amateur, and is organized by the Pinacothèque, a private art museum in Luxembourg.

Congratulations, Jenna!
