Deadline: Feb 18, 2023 - 7:00 pm
Saturday, February 18 at 7 p.m.
Join us at our next Pecha Kucha event for a night of fun and experience interesting people sharing interesting stories in a fast-paced presentation series.
The event will feature stories and presentations from some 8 members of our community and will be held Saturday, February 18 at the Agora, County Hall & Community Centre, 401 Festival Way, Sherwood Park.
What is a Pecha Kucha Night?
Pecha Kucha rapidly expanded from a presentation style to an event. Topics range from holiday photos to social messages. People globally are drawn to the idea for its creativity and inclusivity.
A Pecha Kucha night is fun, informative, social, casual and very addictive! There’s nothing formal or stuffy about this night out!
Admission is by donation (suggested donation at the door is $10+). Doors will open at 6:30 pm, there's music and presentations will start at 7:20 pm. The evening should wrap up by 9:30 pm at the latest.
There's a bar (beer, wine, and soft drinks), free munchies and plenty of parking.
So spread the word and encourage everyone you know to head out to The Agora for a great (and very affordable) evening of learning, socialization and good times.
There's always something amazing that happens at a Pecha Kucha night!
