Jasper Park Revue

Date: Jun 5, 2018

Jasper Park (known as Jasper National Park) once had a thriving dance hall and jazz scene. In the 1940's the Frank Darlow Orchestra entertained and founded the Jasper Park Band. The band was hired out for events, performed in parades and for community holidays.

Frank's family continues to play music - Peter Filice of Edmonton follows in the musical footsteps of his great grandfather Frank.

For Culture Days 2018 Peter will be in Jasper with The MPC to honour the Frank Darlow Orchestra. Original members of the Jasper Park Band may take to the stage as well!

Join us for a rare 'revue' of music in Jasper.
