"Human Abstract" is an exhibition exploring the human form, the self, and the other. Each artist approaches the topic in her own way in their paintings, printmaking, and projection mapping. The artworks in this exhibition are loosely connected to the poem ""The Human Abstract" by William Blake. The poem deals with the critical examination of the man-made abstract concepts about human nature. Rather than looking back at the origin of this poem, the artists link them to contemporary issues addressing the audience through a critical perspective.
Join the artists for special projection event showings every Friday in June, 5-7 pm.
