As a direct response to community need, EPCOR is providing an additional $1 million through its Heart + Soul Fund. The additional investment for arts, cultural and charitable organizations will help those organizations bring joy to individuals and families and offer a lifeline to those hit hardest by COVID-19.
EPCOR created the Heart + Soul Fund in 2020 to support community relief from the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. Last year, $1.25 million
was provided to help arts, culture and recreation organizations develop creative ways to continue delivering important community-based programming, and support charities in implementing new or modified fundraising programs.
Due to the on-going effects of the pandemic and the increasing demand for community resources, EPCOR is extending the Heart + Soul Fund for another year. An additional $1 million will be provided to arts, culture and charitable organizations in 2021 to support their efforts in spreading joy and hope throughout our city, and providing a lifeline for those who need it most. Festivals and cultural attractions are also encouraged to apply.
Applications are now open and submissions will be accepted until the $1 million is fully allocated.
