Call for Entries | N3XT National Arts Competition

Date: Jan 31, 2020

Deadline: Jul 24, 2020 - 11:45 pm

The N3XT challenge.

N3XT offers benefactors, patrons, and artists an opportunity to participate in a unique experience that unites the visual arts from all across Canada.

N3XT is the third installment of a juried art competition that was founded in 2016 to promote emerging visual artists.

N3XT has evolved to a national competition. Thanks to the generous  support of benefactors and sponsors, it will offer significant prizes to the top artists.

Ambassadors have been selected to champion N3XT in different regions of Canada. Their mission is to liaise with local arts communities to promote N3XT and encourage artists to explore new and innovative ways of expressing unity in their art.

How N3XT works.

Canadian visual artists are invited to enter their work in the form of digital images and artists’ statements to the N3XT competition by July 24, 2020.

A five-person jury of artists, critics and gallerists will judge the first round of submissions.

Once selected as a N3XT finalist, the selected artists will send their actual art pieces to the Arts & Letters Club for the final round of judging.

N3XT finalists and awards will be unveiled at a gala exhibition and awards presentation at the Arts & Letters Club in Toronto, October 20, 2020. Afterwards, the N3XT exhibition will tour reciprocal clubs and art galleries across Canada.
