Alberta ERA: A dinosaur-inspired dinner in Drumheller

Date: May 15, 2022

Deadline: Jun 11, 2022 - 5:00 pm

Happening on Saturday, June 11, this fun science-meets-culinary event will offer two levels of experiences:
Alberta Era happy hour (tickets $25): an immersive prehistoric and happy hour on the new(ish) learning level of the Royal Tyrrell Museum complete with live music, canapes, live music and bar service. Also includes museum access.

Alberta Era dinner (tickets $75): Includes above happy hour experience followed by a 3-course dinner by some of Alberta's talented chefs in the museum's main level event space and bar service. Also includes museum access.

The 3-course dinner menu* inspired by interesting types of dinosaurs from different periods of the Mesozoic Era.
The dinosaur-inspired dishes will be created by Alberta chefs: Tracy Little (Sauvage, Canmore), Scott MacKenzie (River Cafe) and Chris Lorenz (Canalta Hotels).
We have only 100 tickets available for the Alberta Era happy hour and just 80 tickets available for the Alberta ERA dinner, which is truly one of the most unique dinners one can experience the stunning Alberta Badlands.

Jurassic World premieres. As such, the town of Drumheller will be especially electric with fun downtown activities during the weekend days, an art exhibit of drawings from Jurassic Park 1 and 2 at Royal Tyrrell Museum and more. Alberta Era attendees interested in watching Jurassic World in Drumheller before or following the event can purchase tickets for June 11 and 12 matinee showings at the Napier Theatre.
