Alberta-Based Record Label Announces Worldwide Distribution Partnership with Symphonic

Date: Nov 23, 2020

With this strategic partnership, Hurry Hard Records is now positioned to competitively reach the worldwide music market in both the physical and digital domains. On each of Hurry Hard’s artist releases, Symphonic will actively distribute, promote and pitch to DSP platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music and TIDAL for features and inclusion on official curated playlists. Symphonic will also distribute Hurry Hard physical releases through the AMPED/Alliance network with direct relationships with thousands of international major and independent retailers, including direct-to-consumer retail solutions and offers the deepest overall market penetration available in the industry.

According to Symphonic Chief Client Officer Nick Gordon:

“We’re glad to help labels get their products into stores during what has been a stressful time in the physical distribution and retail business. AMPED is the best in the business, and we’re excited to work with Dean, Jocelyn, Michael Toppe, and the rest of our old friends there.”

Established in 2017 Hurry Hard Records is an Alberta-based boutique record label focussed on developing sustainable careers for Canadian artists centered around studio recordings, live concert production and digital content. We believe that the music comes first. Hurry Hard Records’ team works in tandem with creators to develop their careers with longevity and sustainability in mind, always keeping the artists' vision at the heart of our plans and efforts.

Hurry Hard’s first release within the Symphonic partnership will be Canadian Alt-pop rising star VISSIA’s upcoming sophomore album. Keep your eyes peeled for an album pre-sale announcement in early 2021 and in the meantime make sure to check out VISSIA’s lead single “Walk Me Home” recently featured in UK international lifestyle magazine Wonderland.
