Creative Flow - Yoga in the Park

Elephant Artist Relief Society (EAR) invites you to Creative Flow, a free outdoor community yoga series happening every weekend this September at Sien Lok Park.

Each session blends gentle movement, breath, and creativity in a beautiful riverside setting. Whether you’re brand new to yoga or already have an established practice, this is a space to recharge outdoors, connect with community, and celebrate wellness through art and movement.

Audacious

Please join us for AUDACIOUS, where longtime colleagues Shona Rae & Barb Temple create work rooted in life, death and the messy business of growing up.  By reclaiming discarded, once-loved objects, they transform the overlooked into vessels of critique, reflection and resilience.  From Rae’s decorative tins reimagined as landscapes to Temple’s shadow boxes of rescued baby dolls, Audacious invites viewers to reconsider what is forgotten - and see existence itself as fragile, unpredictable, and worthy of attention. With 45 pieces of art to discover you may want to stay awhile!

Studio Faculty, Fibre Arts

The Role

Our artists live with disabilities of varying forms but come to the studio because they want to be artists. To help our artists meet this goal, our Studio Faculty will lead their media-specific departments while making extra efforts to encourage, inspire, and motivate them to conceptualize new ideas, create with new mediums, develop and deliver specialized training programs, and exhibit their works when opportunities arise.

Memory

Alberta artists Ana Zanella and Veronica Funk present their own very distinct versions of
memories: abstract grids depicting patterns and organic motifs found in daily life, and portraits inspired by miniature vintage photographs – bringing together old and new through bodies of work that are interconnected by the past but presented in a way that represents the present. The show runs from August 5 - 30th.
