About the AFA art house

The AFA art house established September 2025, is a space dedicated to exhibiting Alberta’s treasure of artworks in the AFA Art Collection and to sharing the work of Alberta artists.

art house expands the AFA’s presence in Calgary and southern Alberta, and contributes to Calgary’s downtown revitalization. The AFA art house provides Albertans an opportunity to see, discover, and experience the unique stories Alberta artists have to share.

With an incredible 20-25% of the AFA Art Collection already in public circulation in any given year, the AFA is pleased to offer yet another opportunity to celebrate Alberta’s unique cultural identity and heritage.

It also offers local artists a new platform to share their work and be discovered.
