Alberta Foundation for the Arts presents a Grant Information Session – Film, Video and Media Arts Projects
If you are a film, video or media artist, consider applying for grant support from the Alberta Foundation for the Arts (AFA). Emerging and established individual artists are invited to an information session to learn more about the AFA’s Film and Video Project Grant Stream of the Individual Artists Project Grant Program.
The next deadline for applications to the program is September 1, 2010, and this information session will prepare you for that deadline. Join Jonathan Meakin, Arts Development Consultant with the Arts Branch of the Ministry of Culture and Community Spirit, for a discussion of:
- program eligibility, application requirements, and assessment process;
- how to define art production, research, training, and marketing projects;
- tips for developing your pitch, budget, and timeline; and
- your questions.

Alberta Foundation for the Arts Grant Information Session - Music Projects
The next deadline for applications to the Music Project Stream of the Alberta Foundation for the Arts (AFA) Individual Artists Project Grant Program is September 1, 2010. Join Allison Kwan, Arts Development Consultant with the Arts Branch of the Ministry of Culture and Community Spirit, to discuss how to develop an AFA music project grant proposal in the categories of art production, training, marketing, commissioning and research.
