Step into an electrifying evening of dance featuring the 10 Dancer Ensemble of Ballet Edmonton in three bold new works by Canadian rising star choreographers Kirsten Wicklund, Ethan Colangelo, and Béatrice Larrivée. Each artist brings a distinct choreographic voice to the stage. Wicklund’s work pulses with urgency and intuition, blending virtuosic ballet technique with raw contemporary energy. Colangelo, growing in international acclaim and known for a visceral movement language, offers a work that is both poetic and explosively physical. Larrivée draws from her Canadian roots combined with her time with Batsheva Dance Company to craft a piece delving into instinct, intensity, and groove.
